Our childhood experiences of church should fill us with warm memories. We should look on them as a times of valuable learning in a caring environment that helped ready us for our lives. Learning about Jesus should be a great experience for our kids. At Richland, our Sunday School programs are planned to serve children in a winsome and graceful manner. We want them to not only know about their creator but to have a personal interest in their faith. We want them to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord, the Bible as the word of God, and how best to love God and their neighbor. Through praise and worship, music and teaching, remembering and story, they gain insight into the "who they are in Christ" and God's good plan for their lives.
We also provide three adult Bible classes at our church (all our classes begin at 10AM) -- “Faith” meets in the old “Session Room" adjacent to the sanctuary and engages with study materials that are topical in nature. Class instruction is shared among those attending as the material is shared and studied throughout the week. -- “Fellowship” meets in our Memorial Hall and is primarily taught by our Pastor. The class primarily focuses on Biblical material related to our Sunday Worship Sermon topic. Expect supplemental material to enhance your understanding of the texts, theme, and historical context of our morning messages. -- “Daughters of the King” meets in our "parlor room" just off the old kitchen. This class is designed for women, age 16+. The class is led by gifted and knowledgeable teachers who know and have lived the faith; providing truth, prayer, and inspiration to all in the class.
