EMail Newsletter (MAY 2026) [If you would like to receive an email newsletter from Richland ARP (see what follows...), please leave your address in the comment box. Thank you!]
DEAR READERS,
I know you get a lot of email! I just spent an afternoon deleting thousands of emails: realtors, newsgroups, ministries, politicians, Millington businesses, airlines, archaeological updates, seminaries, products I've purchased, that pillow guy, and a whoooooole lot of Linkedin notices (I don't even use Linkedin)! These are all in the "trash" now because my email "box" is almost full. What should I do with the other 57,000+ emails stored online?
Many of you will also delete this email, too; but as long as you know that we are reaching out to you and encouraging you to read the most important message ever sent to you: The Bible! Be sure that it is nearby and ready for consultation and reflection! There is a lot of competition for your mind today... be sure yours is filled with the mind of Christ!
First Fridays Bible Study & YOUTH Fellowship will meet THIS FRIDAY (The second Friday!) in our Memorial Hall at 6PM! We will have a great meal, deep discussion about God's word, and a fun Bingo game with very coveted prizes ;) Invite a middle & high school student to attend!
The Rosemark Men's Breakfast and Bible Study is this Saturday morning, May8! Come gather with your fathers, sons, and brothers @ 8AM for excellent food and fellowship!
Women's Ministry Flower, Food, and Fellowship event is also this Saturday afternoon, May8 @ 3PM in the Memorial Hall. Come for a lesson on flower arranging and join them afterwards for a meal in town.
...AND Teacher's Appreciation Sunday! Before our service this Lord's Day, we will recognize all our mothers AND our Sunday School teachers who provide such a vital role in the life of our church!
Summer Schedule notes: As the school year concludes and we shift into the summer months, some important schedule changes are being announced: After Mother's Day, our youth Sunday School will meet in the Memorial Hall with Miss Courtney for VBS song rehearsals. On the first of June (6/7) our DONUTS & DEVOTIONS FAMILY CLASS will begin at 10AM in the Memorial Hall for children and their families (Our other 2 adult Sunday School classes will continue to meet throughout all these dates at their regular times and locations!) During the summer, our Wednesday evening Family Dinner & Devotions will NOT meet until the next school year in the fall. However, be "calendar aware" regarding those "special events" as they happen!

Special Services:
Olivet Discourse Tuesday - Jesus was a prophet who spoke of the "last days." One of the most referenced Bible passages related to "end times" is the Olivet Discourse documented in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. We will discuss portions of this discourse and suggest a proper interpretation for these words of Jesus. The "End of the Age" Presentation delivered in April 2026
Seder Supper Wednesday - As a part of our regular Wednesday Night Family Supper, we dedicate this night to learning more about the Passover meal as detailed from the book of Exodus. Although not a full Seder meal, the teaching elements will satisfy the soul!
Maundy Thursday - As Jesus gathered with his disciples for a final Passover feast, we will gather to contemplate and commemorate the theological importance of observing the Lord's Table. This evening is open to all to learn the re-telling of this meal, and we welcome all who are professing, baptized, and confessing Christians to participate in the sacrament of the Lord's Supper at the conclusion of the service.
Good Friday Service - It was a good day for a bad day -- the day that Jesus bore the sins of those who would be destined for God's judgment and wrath had he not atoned for them. The cry, "It is finished!" is deeply profound and requires our thoughtful consideration. Join us for a Noon-time service that will remind us of the wages of our sins, but will highlight the gift of God's grace!
Resurrection Sunday Service - He is risen! He has risen, indeed! This is the refrain that announces the promises of God and fuels our eternal hopes! We invite everyone to join us for a morning worship service which is the motivation for our every Sunday Service... come worship the risen, reigning, and soon returning King!
